The historical relationship between religion and science has been an ongoing battle ever since science first got started. The fact is, that in most cases, the Bible only proves science and vice versa. It is only when science can't come up with proof that they disagree.

The first fact is that before they proved that the earth was round (they said it was flat) the Bible told them that it was round!

When you take a look at all your body parts that work together to help to make you walk, talk, run, or stand how do you explain the fact that it was made to heal itself? The body is so complex that it is the one thing that should bring science and religion together. Just take a look at the heart, it is the hardest working organ in the body and both science and religion agree that it has the capacity to heal itself as was intended in the beginning, and this is where science and religion differ. Also science can't explain miracle healings, "but religion can."  

Another example of differences is the theory that people who serve the Lord by giving their lives to Him, do it because of their environment and the way they were raised and are made to be docile. How does it explain the hard core person who used to think only of himself, was nasty to all and has now done a 180 degree turn and is now driven to help others in need?
